Create your own Medieval 3D paper castle with Katy Alston

Katy graduated with a degree in Fine Art (Painting) from West Surrey College of Art in 1988. She continued to paint for some years before moving to illustration where she has freelanced for over twenty years.  She is particularly known for her beautiful maps of the area and she also creates 3D illustrations and paintings inspired by the natural world. Katy has exhibited widely at galleries, illustration and book-art fairs, has a postgraduate degree in Teaching in Further and Higher education and teaches her own natural history illustration workshops - and you can make along with her in this hands-on workshop!

You will be sent the digital files to print at home when you book your tickets. We recommend you print them on fine card.

In this workshop, you will illustrate and make a beautiful 3D castle - the perfect Christmas present, or just a lovely excuse for a relaxing crafternoon!

We will send you the printed card  in advance, and then all you need is:

  • a craft knife
  • scissors
  • something to cut on
  • pens and pencils to illustrate
  • a ruler
  • a glue stick
