Jam-packed with festive fun, what better way to start the Christmas season?
Join us in Ludlow’s medieval castle for a magical weekend of entertainment, hands-on activities, delicious food and drink and over 100 stalls of unique gifts and treats!
Festive Fun!
With two dedicated stages – the Market Place Marquee and the Castle Garden Stage - plus more within the Inner Bailey, there’s plenty to keep you entertained all weekend. Watch out for our walkabout entertainment too, jesters, musicians and much more!
Cheers to good cheer
Whatever your tipple of choice we’ve got something for you, from artisan liqueurs and spirits to beautiful beers and warming hot beverages. Don’t forget our late night hot cocktail bar in the Inner Bailey on Saturday night too – open from 6-9pm only.
Tickle your tastebuds with delicious food as you kick-back and enjoy the entertainment or browse our wide range of stalls. From pasties and pies to roast chestnuts and venison burgers, from handmade chocolates to cakes and cookies, there are plenty of treats to enjoy on the day or to take home as a gorgeous gift.

Be a part of history – take part in our mass carol-singing and wassailing sessions and join in with our interactive theatre shows for all ages! Young budding knights can learn all about fighting skills at our Sword School and on Sunday there are extra children’s activities in the Inner Bailey all day, presented by our friends at The Den Kit Co.

From delicious festive treats to historical goods, clothing and textiles, from homeware and jewellery to leatherwork, artwork, Christmas decorations and one-off ceramics, there are over 100 stalls to explore within the castle walls. Delve into our marquees of delight or explore our traders goods in their beautiful medieval style tents around the Fayre

Plan Your Visit
Tickets are available on the gate and, for a lower price, in advance online. Don't forget that on Saturday we are open until 9pm, so why not experience the Medieval Christmas Fayre after dark?
