The Master BuilderTHE BEST IN MEDIEVAL ENTERTAINMENT

Lots of have-a-go sessions and activities for young people in The Jesters' Marquee and The Master Builder's Marquee.

Could you one of Ludlow's Besta Jesters? Join in Saturday's Jester Workshops and take part in the Jesters' Showcase (Saturday only). The workshops will be led by BZ Ents, Mistress Love and that old favourite wynndebagge.

Are you good enough to be an Apprentice Master Builder? Help our Master Builder and you will be awarded a certificate if you complete the task he sets you!

Nominus

NominusOn Sunday you can join in with medieval street bands, learn dances, tunes and songs with Nonimus, The New St George Waits, Mistress Love and The Stanchester Quire.

Robin Hood, Maid Marion, Friar Tuck, Alan a Dale, Guy of Gisborne - all names that conjure up tales of heroes and villains, dastardly deeds and acts of romantic heroism. Now you can be part of the legend as BZ Ents bring these wonderful stories to life on the Castle Garden Stage and the children get to join in and play their part in The Silver Arrow and Robin Hood's Greatest Adventure (Sunday only).

Stanchester QuireBrother Sid

The knights of The Plantagenet Society return to battle it out with sword and shield amidst the ancient trees and turrets surrounding the new Castle Garden Stage, whilst wandering hither and thither will be the tallest piper in England, Peter Optical. Peter will also be storytelling in The Jesters' Marquee on both days.

Princes in the Tower

The world's friendliest giant, Big Sid, will be joiniKing Stephenng in the fun alongside the majestic King Stephen with his royal band Swyndelstock. Here for the first time we welcome The Bishop Castle and bring us all good luck, and The Princes in the Tower, who have escaped from the medieval rock band Circulus to wander amongst you.

As well as new shows and performers, all your favourite bits will be there - carol singing on Saturday night with Stanchester Quire as well as The Motley Minstrels when all the musicians come together in one big medieval band to play for you and lead the dances.
